Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a responsible and energetic After School Care Provider to supervise and engage children after school hours at our Kimberley facility. This part-time role focuses on creating a safe, fun, and structured environment where kids can complete homework, play, and socialize until they are picked up.

You will work closely with parents to coordinate activities, monitor behavior, and ensure a smooth handover to guardians.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in childcare or after-school programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; childcare certifications are a plus.
• Patience, responsibility and a positive attitude toward working with children.
• Ability to manage a group of children and maintain order.
• Good communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in a group setting, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist children with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Organize and lead engaging recreational activities, games, and crafts.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment for the children.
• Manage behavior and promote positive social interactions.
• Ensure timely and safe handover of children to parents or guardians.
