Job summary

Synergi Recruitment seeks a Payroll, Finance & Compliance Coordinator in Cape Town to own contractor payroll end-to-end, from timesheets to invoicing, while managing AR and compliance duties.

You’ll handle Right to Work checks, maintain documentation, and ensure correct digital forms storage. Proactive and structured, you’ll work closely with the Director in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and hands-on experience with Xero or similar.
• Genuinely organised with attention to detail, especially timesheets.
• Clear communicator, able to chase POs and payments.

Responsibilities

• Payroll end-to-end for contractors, weekly, including timesheets, invoicing and loading into Xero.
• Accounts receivable ledger ownership: credit control, chasing overdues, maintaining terms.
• Compliance checks: Right to Work, documentation storage, IR35 awareness.
• Systems and support: maintain Bullhorn and internal systems, assist Director.
