Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support our healthcare and retirement consulting teams in Sandton. You will work with large datasets, build Excel models, and prepare high-quality PowerPoint reports to inform recommendations for clients.

This internal role focuses on data insights, trend reporting and benchmarking to support consultants and sales with data-driven decisions in employee benefits and retirement funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 2–4+ years experience in data analytics or business analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with executive presentations experience.
• Experience with data extraction, cleaning and manipulation.
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse retirement fund, benefits and healthcare data to identify trends and inform strategic recommendations.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, visualisations and forecasting tools.
• Prepare clear PowerPoint reports for internal use and consultant presentations.
• Support market research, competitor analysis and industry insights for consulting teams.
• Extract, clean and manipulate datasets from multiple sources for accurate analysis.
• Provide regular reporting on key metrics, trends and benchmarking results for consulting engagements.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate requirements into actionable analytics.
• Assist with ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects in employee benefits and retirement fund performance.
