Job summary

Placements24 in East London invites aspiring entrants to join as a Junior Project Management Apprentice. You will learn fundamentals of planning, execution, monitoring and closing, supporting project managers and coordinating tasks in a hybrid work setting.

This hands-on apprenticeship offers mentorship from experienced PMs, training in project management principles, and exposure to diverse projects. Eligibility includes Matric and strong organizational skills, with remote and office work

Qualifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A keen interest in project management methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in standard office software; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
Ability to work effectively both remotely and from our East London office.

Responsibilities

Assist project managers in developing project plans and schedules.
Track project progress and report on milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
Help manage project documentation and maintain project databases.
Identify potential project risks and assist in mitigation strategies.
Support the logistics and organization of project meetings.
