Job summary

A dynamic email marketing agency in Cape Town is hiring an Account Manager to manage client relationships and drive retention. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in email marketing or account management, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of e-commerce. This full-time role offers flexibility with preferred core hours of 9am–6pm SAST.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead all client communications.
  • Manage the full client relationship.
  • Coordinate with designers and copywriters.
  • Keep projects moving on Airtable & Slack.
  • Drive client retention and lifetime value (LTV).

We’re looking for a killer Account Manager who can own their client work, keep projects flowing and help turn great clients into long‑term partners.

We work with brands in ecom, apps, and finance.

So you can move between those worlds and throw your ideas around, that’s a huge plus.

This role is perfect for someone who :

  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment (our finance side is very fast)
  • Knows how to lead teams & manage creative workflows & follow our structure
  • Loves building relationships and spotting growth opportunities
  • Gets a thrill out of hitting targets and solving problems

What you’ll do :

  • Lead all client comms
  • Manage the full client relationship
  • Coordinate with designers, copy and myself
  • Keep everything moving on Airtable & Slack
  • Drive client retention and LTV

Must have :

  • 2+ years in email marketing or account management (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ecom and
  • Obsessed with client success
  • Flexible working hours (core availability : 9am–6pm SAST)
