Job summary

FullServe is seeking a highly skilled Close Protection Officer to join our executive security team. The role includes protecting the principal, planning routes, and conducting advance work, with a focus on discretion and professionalism.

Travel locally and internationally is required; you will coordinate with authorities and maintain thorough incident records to ensure safety while supporting the principal's lifestyle.

Qualifications

• PSIRA registration and Grade 12 are mandatory.
• SAPS/SASSETA firearm competency and related certificates are required.
• CP/VIP protection training and defensive driving certificates are expected.
• First Aid and TECC training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical protection to the principal and family members.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments and surveillance detection.
• Perform defensive driving duties in varied traffic and weather conditions.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Maintain meticulous records of daily activities and incident reports.

Education

PSIRA Registration (Grade A or B preferred)

Proof of PSIRA registration status

Grade 12

SAPS/SASSETA Training Certification

SAPS Competency Certificate (Business Purpose / Handgun)

Proficiency Statements: Handgun/Shotgun/Carbine

Close Protection/VIP Protection training (PSiRA, IBA, EPI)

Defensive Driving (advanced/high-performance)

First Aid Level 2 or 3

Emergency Response / TECC training

Evasive driving or tactical vehicle maneuvers

Maritime/Anti-Piracy or Travel safety training
