Job Title: Electronic Technician – Simulator Repairs

? Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 (Basic) + Medical Aid

Introduction:

Our client, a leader in simulation technology, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components in simulators. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and working with complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on electronic components of simulators
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
  • Replace or repair defective parts, such as circuit boards, sensors, wiring, and connectors
  • Conduct system tests and quality checks to verify proper operation
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Liaise with engineering or design teams on recurring issues or design improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards

Requirements:

  • Relevant N6, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic fault-finding and repairs (preferably in a technical environment)
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and testing tools
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Based in or able to commute to Boksburg
