Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Qualified 3 Phase Electrician in Addo, South Africa. The role requires a valid Wireman’s Licence and a minimum of 3–5 years in the electrical field. Requirements
  • Qualified / Trade‑Tested 3 Phase Electrician with a valid Wireman’s Licence (Registered with the Department of Labour).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning.
  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry will be advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical safety regulations, SANS codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and fault‑finding abilities.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in line with regulations and quality standards.
  • Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including three‑phase equipment and distribution boards.
  • Perform electrical commissioning to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Perform site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical input.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately.
  • Maintain accurate job records, service reports and compliance documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Ensure all work adheres to SANS codes, safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure smooth operations on site.
  • Provide professional technical input on energy‑efficient and renewable energy solutions.
Additional Information

Working Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility for after‑hours work when required.

Travel: Regular travel to project and client sites may be required.

Environment: Work involves site‑based activities and adherence to all safety protocols.
