A leading electrical contracting company is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Site Agent to oversee commercial installations in Bloemfontein. Candidates must be qualified electricians with extensive experience in commercial installations and bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Salary ranges from R 20 000 to 35 000 Cost to Company.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years’ experience in the electrical industry.
• Extensive experience in commercial installations.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel regularly to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations for electrical installations.
• Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards.
• Prepare reports and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to meet deadlines.

Skills

Strong site management and project coordination skills

Proven ability to supervise and lead teams on multiple sites

Knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements

Experience with progress reporting, scheduling, and quality control

Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

Ability to manage budgets, materials, and subcontractors efficiently

Education

Qualified Electrician with a valid Trade Test Certificate
