We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Electrical Sales Engineer with proven experience working with ABB products and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, providing technical support to customers, and driving business growth across assigned markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

The role involves the following responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell ABB electrical products and solutions (e.g., LV/MV switchgear, drives, motors, protection, automation systems)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Provide technical advice and solutions tailored to customer requirements
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and technical/commercial proposals
  • Liaise with engineering project and supply teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Stay updated on ABB technologies, market trends, and competitor activities
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer within the electrical industry
  • Hands‑on experience with ABB products and systems is essential
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical power and automation solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
  • Valid driver’s licence (if applicable)
