Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from conceptualization and design to implementation and commissioning.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all project requirements and safety regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in electrical project engineering or management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and electrical design tools.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in the George, Western Cape region or similar industrial environments is a plus.
