Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced E&I Package Manager to oversee the delivery of significant electrical packages for both Brownfield and Greenfield facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering and strong project management skills. This role offers a competitive rate of £70 per hour, with a mix of on-site and remote work in Surrey.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers in roles of package engineer or package manager.
• Experience of ICSS design is advantageous.

Overview

E&I Package Manager — Rate £70p/hr – Outside IR35. Duration 12 months. 4 days preferably in the office in Surrey, 1 day WFH per week.

Our client is looking for an E&I Package Manager who possesses significant experience in electrical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of major electrical packages for a Brownfield / Greenfield facility. The package management comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement and OEM management for the longer-term site modification requirements and integration.

Responsibilities

• The focal point between the Client\'s PMT and the PMT, procurement, engineering and site teams including the OEMs.
• Manage packages that include modifications to the existing power management system, existing 11kV switchgear and for new transformers, as well as other electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear.
• Drive multi-functional delivery across major packages, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence, etc., and facilitate stakeholder buy-in.
• Support engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope. Facilitate technical issue resolution with a solid engineering background.
• Have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager.
• Experience of ICSS design will be an advantage.
• Build strong working relationships with the Client and suppliers.
