Job summary

A leading service provider in engineering maintenance in Johannesburg seeks a qualified candidate for an engineering role focused on developing specifications, conducting audits, and managing maintenance risks. Ideal applicants will have a N6/National Diploma, solid experience, and knowledge of facilities maintenance. Strong skills in MS Office and SAP, as well as a Code B Driver’s License, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Facilities Maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering.
• Intermediate skill level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering specifications for new and existing assets.
• Complete technical maintenance and statutory asset audits and inspections.
• Identify maintenance risks for evaluation and resolution.

• Engineering maintenance, CRM & Property Management

KPAs

• Develop and manage engineering specifications in the region for new assets and the maintenance of existing assets.
• Complete highly technical maintenance and statutory asset audits and inspections.
• Identify maintenance risks on client’s equipment for evaluation and resolution via FRL & Risk Notification processes.
• Review and contribute to scopes of works, maintenance strategies and maintenance tactics.
• React to major equipment failures as first responder in order to return to service as soon as possible.
• Manage vendors, suppliers, contractors and OEM’s in order to bring equipment back to services and manage specifications for its operations, maintenance and extension of asset life cycle.
