Job summary

Placements24 is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Trainees for an Electrical Engineering role in Vereeniging. This hybrid position blends office-based design and on-site work to develop practical skills in electrical systems, design, installation, and maintenance across power distribution, control systems, and automation.

You will work with experienced engineers, participate in site inspections, and contribute to projects while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, power systems, control theory, and electronics.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components.
• Conduct electrical calculations, simulations, and prepare technical drawings and schematics.
• Support the commissioning and testing of electrical equipment and control systems.
• Participate in site inspections and provide technical support for installations.
