About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems, including motors, generators, switchgear, and control panels.
• Participate in site inspections and data collection for electrical infrastructure assessments.
• Support project teams by assisting with documentation, drawing updates, and procurement tasks.
• Learn and apply safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and risk assessments, in all work activities.
• Gain exposure to various electrical systems, such as power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Shadow experienced personnel to understand operational processes and engineering practices.
• Contribute to problem-solving activities and assist in troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision.
• Help maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to develop technical knowledge and professional skills.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• A strong academic record, particularly in core electrical engineering subjects.
• Demonstrated interest in industrial electrical systems, power systems, or automation.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
