Network Engineering seeks an Aerospace Electrical Engineer in Pretoria to lead the design, development and integration of electrical systems for aerospace platforms, including avionics, power distribution and interfaces.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, define system requirements, create schematics and layouts, select components, run simulations, perform tests and documentation to ensure compliance with DO-178C, DO-254 and MIL-STD standards across the full lifecycle of aircraft

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in electrical design and development, preferably in aerospace.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-1553).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in aerospace electrical engineering.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Aerospace Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for aerospace applications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and integrate electrical components and subsystems into aircraft and spacecraft platforms. From avionics systems to power distribution networks, you will be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
