Job summary

A leading engineering firm seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for their East London branch. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics, at least 5 years' experience in Automation, and a strong understanding of electrical processes. Responsibilities include developing control concepts, preparing installation plans, and supervising projects. This role requires good communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to work shifts, weekends and overtime.

Our client, a world leader in the mechanical and plant engineering industry, seeks experienced Electrical Engineers for their Johannesburg, East London and Port Elizabeth branches.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Automation
• E-PLAN, an added advantage
• Electronic Systems & Electronic troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of electrical processes and knowledge of South African standards, i.e. SANS and international standards
• Project management

• Pre-commission and commissioning of equipment
