Job description

Responsibilities

• Assess existing low-voltage overhead and underground networks
• Design medium and low-voltage networks
• Plan and implement sports field and street lighting projects
• Support tender processes: compile specifications, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and contractual documentation
• Evaluate and adjudicate tenders
• Work on pumping stations, including motor control centres with telemetry/SCADA monitoring
• Design and maintain building services: power, lighting, data/IT, access control, fire detection systems, and UPS units

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in electrical network design and site surveying
• Knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical systems
• Experience with sports field/street lighting, pumping stations, and building services
• Familiarity with tender documentation, cost estimation, and adjudication
• Hands-on experience with motor control centres and SCADA
• Must understand Afrikaans
• Minimum 3 5 years of experience
