Lucy Group Ltd is seeking an Assembly / Adaptation Technician to perform electrical assembly, wiring, and testing per drawings and BOM. Based on the shop floor, you will support production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Your role includes inspection, fault reporting, and basic fault-finding under supervision.

The position requires 2–5 years in electrical assembly, reading schematics, and a disciplined approach to 5S and safety on site in Capetown.

Competenze

• Electrical Artisan or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• 2–5 years' experience in electrical assembly or production.
• Experience with switchgear is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Assemble, wire and fit electrical components per drawings and BOM.
• Carry out general assembly and fitment of Ring Main Units into enclosures.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly.
• Prepare and verify parts for tasks and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Conduct self-inspections and report defects; support QA and HSE inspections.
• Maintain a clean, 5S compliant work area and safeguard tools.
