Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Design
2. Lead and contribute to the development of electrical design solutions for petrochemical and energy projects.
3. Perform detailed electrical calculations, prepare technical specifications, and develop design documentation for power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
4. Project Management
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and civil engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
6. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
7. Regulatory Compliance
8. Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
9. Ensure all designs and installations comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
10. Risk Assessment & Mitigation
11. Conduct risk assessments on electrical designs and propose mitigation strategies to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
12. Collaboration & Communication
13. Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication.
14. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of electrical design experience in petrochemical or energy projects.
• Professional Engineer registration is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM).
