Job summary

Corteva Agriscience seeks an AME Environmental, Health & Safety Co-Ordinator – Supply & Field Operations to implement and continuously improve safety programs across Africa Middle East operations. You will partner with leaders to mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, investigate incidents and drive a proactive safety culture.

The role covers Supply & Logistics, Warehousing, Seed Field and Production operations, with travel to dispersed sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Related EH&S qualifications or certificates preferred.
• Experience in agriculture, supply chain, warehousing, field operations, seed production, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, contractor safety management, training and safety awareness programs.
• Passion for creating a world-class safety culture.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Data-driven approach to safety performance improvement.
• Knowledge of EHS legal requirements across multiple countries is advantageous.
• Experience in dispersed operations and influencing without direct authority.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working in day-man operational environments.
• Willingness to travel and support remote field operations.
• Ability to respond effectively to incidents and emerging risks.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement Corteva's EHS strategy across AME Supply & Field Operations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS standards, procedures, policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and implement safety programs across Supply & Logistics Operations, Warehousing, Seed Field Ops and Seed Production Ops.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews at facilities and sites.
• Perform risk assessments and assist teams in mitigating hazards.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Track and analyze safety performance metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain safety records and reporting systems.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Coordinate contractor safety management processes and safety training.
