Job summary

The STUDIO in East London is seeking a Midweight Designer with a strong editorial eye to join its small, dynamic team. You’ll work across print and digital, designing brochures, presentation decks, emailers, posters and site signage, bringing structure to content and a clear visual hierarchy.

The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience, a portfolio of editorial layouts, excellent typography, and strong knowledge of print production and final artwork.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in a similar design environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating editorial or magazine layouts and multi-page documents.
• Excellent typography, layout and information design skills with a contemporary design sensibility.
• Meticulous attention to detail from concept through final artwork.
• Solid knowledge of print production, artwork preparation and digital design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design brochures, publications, presentation decks, campaigns and marketing materials across print and digital.
• Turn complex information into clear, engaging layouts for documents and presentations.
• Adapt creative work across formats including LinkedIn adverts, emailers, posters and signage boards.
• Develop strong grids, typographic systems and visual hierarchies that work across projects.
• Prepare accurate artwork for print and digital production, working with team and suppliers to deliver finished materials.
• Manage feedback, deadlines and multiple deliverables while maintaining consistency and high attention to detail.
