Overview

Economics and Geography Teacher (grades 9–12) at Education Incorporated, an English‑medium independent school in Fourways catering for grades 4 to 12.

Responsibilities

We seek to hire a teacher who is deeply passionate about their subject and can inspire high performance in a nurturing environment. The role will involve teaching grades 9–12 in Economics and Geography, supporting a boutique school atmosphere with small classes that allow for individual attention.

Qualifications
  • Appropriate teaching qualification.
  • Registration with SACE.
  • Relevant subject‑related teaching experience or newly graduated teachers who want to be coached and mentored into an FET subject matter expert.
  • High proficiency in the use of technology and computer applications, especially Google for Education.
  • Well‑developed sense of professionalism and emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a history of effective administrative and organisational skills.
  • The capacity to demonstrate initiative, high levels of energy and the motivation to be a team player within a dynamic, relationship‑based high‑performing environment.
  • Relevant contactable references, including current Head (if applicable).
