Job Profile
Experienced E&I Supervisor with strong technical background in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across both underground and surface mining operations. Skilled in overseeing maintenance, repairs, and installations on HV / MV reticulation, substations, transformers, conveyors, pumps, and associated EC&I infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical and instrumentation teams in underground and surface environments.
- Manage maintenance and installation of substations, transformers, reticulation systems, conveyors, and pumping stations.
- Perform HV / MV switching, fault finding, and troubleshooting on electrical and control equipment.
- Oversee inspection, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation, monitoring, and protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice (COPs), and fatal risk protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety procedures, and drive quality standards in line with legislation and OEM requirements.
- Manage materials, work permits, and coordination with contractors and operational staff.
