Job description

PURPOSE OF ROLE :

To provide an accurate forecast of future demand that maximizes sales opportunities while minimizing excess stock risk. The primary focus is to create alignment between Financial (Sales Planning – IBP), Channel, Brand, and Supply Planning using the SAP IBP environment to establish a single source of truth.

Maintenance of Product Families

Coordinate pre-seasonal alignment with the Market Supply Team on seasonal demand trends (local Product supply / Global Supply).

Align Product Family mid-term plans from IBP with seasonal brand (CTC) guidance. Review statistical forecasts based on algorithms.

Pre-Seasonal Planning Preparation

Review and consolidate RMA article forecasts post-ranging sign-off (Brand / Channel alignment) across articles, product families, and channels.

Review and consolidate iMAP Merchandise Plans (DTC), Sales Orders (B2B), and additional forecasts as orderbooks are developed.

Support CTC in understanding category development or Product Family gaps once article forecasts are consolidated.

Seasonal Consolidation of Demand / In-Season Maintenance of Demand

Maintain Demand Plan on a rolling monthly basis and manage demand phasing.

Review monthly buying volumes and ensure Purchase Requisitions (PRs) are accurately maintained to support demand phasing and converted into Purchase Orders (POs).

Oversee inventory simulation monthly to support buying decisions and demand review discussions (S&OP).

Participate in S&OE sessions to align demand with constrained supply and update channels on operational execution (timing and volumes).

Facilitate stock sharing discussions with channels in case of supply constraints.

Business Decision Support

Create reporting suites to support business decisions.

Ensure data maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement of the operational demand planning process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Align with IDP team on monthly Drumbeat KPIs (RDP and IBP).
  2. Lead the monthly IBP drumbeat and ensure IBP submission accuracy within EM deadlines.
  3. Manage RMA Range guidance to align shape and gross sales volumes with IBP assumptions.
  4. Manage category / article demand.
  5. Facilitate and steer S&OP sessions with SCM, Brand, Channels, and Finance.
  6. Ensure demand signals are effectively communicated to Product Supply.
  7. Consolidate and manage monthly buying volume guidance.
  8. Provide monthly inventory simulation data for IBP process.
  9. Participate in S&OE sessions with SCM, Channels, and Finance.
  10. Collaborate with EM DP team to standardize planning approaches across regions for improved accuracy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or related field; higher degree preferred in management or accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of cross-functional experience in marketing operations, merchandising, sales/retail, or finance.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Basic IT skills in Outlook and Word; advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of MSTR, PowerBI, or SAP is preferable.
