Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as Caterpillar General Mechanic post-apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 4 years Caterpillar Component rebuild experience.
• Experience acting as a Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Computer literate and good business writing skills.
• Familiar with Dyno and Hydraulic test bench operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of artisans and assistants in maintenance and repair.
• Ensure daily risk assessments are completed to control safety risks.
• Maintain a high level of contamination control and housekeeping.
• Resolve internal and external customer queries.
• Effective control of work in progress through job management.
