Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Early Childhood Development Educator for a pre-primary school in Richards Bay. The role focuses on nurturing play-based learning to support foundational skills, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

You will develop engaging curricula, create a safe classroom, and track each child’s progress while communicating with parents about development and well-being. Richards Bay location preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with young children in a formal educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for early childhood education and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and ensure child safety in Richards Bay.

Responsibilities
