Senior Finance Manager - Mining Sector

As the 2ic to the Head of Finance at the mine, this senior role requires someone with experience in mining, quarrying, or manufacturing, and at least 5 years of managing people.

You will need:

1. A degree in Finance and 10 or more years of working experience
2. At least 5 years of experience in managing people/teams
3. All-round finance and accounting skills
4. Sector experience in mining, quarrying, or manufacturing
5. Solid experience working at the operations level, not head office
6. SAP experience

Focus areas, in addition to the full finance function, will include:

• Inventory and warehouse management
• Overseeing the procurement process
• Managing transactional banking and treasury
• Payroll supervision
• Supervising the Finance team

The mine is located an hour outside Pretoria, towards Limpopo, and requires daily on-site presence at the operations — remote work is not available. You should be based in Pretoria East or North-East, as other areas are too far for daily commuting.

Preference will be given to male candidates.
