Job Responsibilities

  1. Efficiently manage the operation of both the Finished Goods, Local and Imported merchandise, and Raw Material warehouse.
  2. Ensure a high degree of customer service through speed, accuracy, and quality of the loading function.
  3. Ensure all SAP and administrative functions are completed in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct stock takes and cycle counts as required, and prepare monthly and periodic reports.
  5. Ensure all invoices are receipted in SAP.
  6. Ensure that everyone in the warehouse complies with safety regulations and observes safety precautions as per applicable legislation.
  7. Build and manage a motivated and professional team capable of meeting the demands of a fast-paced, challenging business environment, while ensuring the site meets customer service and quality targets.

Is this job for you?

The ideal candidate must have Matric or N3 + Trade qualification, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance planning environment within a manufacturing setting.

This role requires experience in planning using SAP; experience in engineering stores management is an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating plant maintenance activities, analyzing failures or breakdowns, managing costs, ensuring the availability of parts during planned maintenance and shutdowns, and managing the EWO system.
