Well established Firm in Bedfordview seeks an Audit Senior to join their dynamic team.
Role Purpose
The ideal candidate will apply their knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for SMEs and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Execution: Perform financial audits, ensuring compliance with IFRS for SMEs and ISA.
  • Working Paper Preparation: Compile complete audit documentation, draft financial statements, and prepare supporting schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Independently review and verify financial reports and audit files.
  • Software & Systems: Utilize accounting and auditing software to enhance efficiency.
  • Client Service: Deliver professional and competent service to maintain the firm's reputation.
  • Staff Management: Oversee audit clerks, allocate jobs, and ensure timely progress.
  • Training & Development: Mentor junior staff on workpaper completion, auditing standards, and file preparation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial and auditing standards.
  • Partner Liaison: Collaborate with firm partners on audit planning, staff progress, and project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Relevant Accounting Degree
  • Completed SAICA Articles
  • Prior auditing experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience in supervising audit teams advantageous
