Job Description
The role involves contributing to the design, development, and implementation of an integrated learning quality management system (QMS) aimed at continuously improving learning products, systems, content, and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Incorporating LEAN / 6 Sigma and ISO standards to ensure performance measurement and continuous improvement.
- Reviewing learning policies and processes for alignment with talent development strategies and other company policies.
- Mapping and reviewing learning and business processes for effective implementation.
- Managing storage and control of templates in the learning repository for accessibility and audits.
- Aligning policies with Cat and HEM curriculums for Apprenticeship programs, including instructor understanding of the logbook and responsibilities.
- Designing regional instructor progression guides and monitoring apprentices' timelines.
- Controlling learner logbooks, ensuring sign-offs and moderation.
- Monitoring learner ratings, compliance with notional hours, and updating training materials.
- Supporting regional training centre audits, instructor evaluations, and tooling checks.
- Engaging stakeholders, including Business, Caterpillar, and ISO bodies.
- Monitoring ROI measures and analyzing the impact of programmes like Apprenticeship and CAT certification.
- Managing the Customer Net Loyalty system and analyzing trends.
- Tracking continuous improvement and providing monthly reports.
- Conducting site audits, developing support plans, and managing non-conformances related to quality assurance.
- Reviewing and auditing learning practices, courses, facilitators, vendors, and content for certification quality and authenticity.
- Building internal and external relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Managing asset and contamination control, including ISO and contamination system audits, calibration schedules, and reporting.
- Participating in audits, ensuring compliance with ISO and OHSAS standards, and managing risk and safety audits with SHEQ.
- Reporting workplace incidents and preventative actions.
- Participating in internal and external quality assurance audits and risk mitigation.
Qualifications, experience, and competencies required:
- Minimum tertiary qualification in human sciences; professional quality management certification advantageous.
- At least eight years of work experience, including two years in quality management or related systems.
- Competencies include strong communication skills, attention to detail, results-driven attitude, organizational awareness, emotional intelligence, business acumen, creativity, and innovation.
