KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  1. Develop and implement Sedfa’s investment and lending strategic plans to support the growth and sustainability of small enterprises.
  2. Develop and oversee the implementation of sound lending policies, guidelines, and business plans.
  3. Guide the effective management of lending and investment processes.
  4. Oversee the operations and administration of regional office networks and co-locations to ensure efficient functioning and alignment with Sedfa's goals.
  5. Develop and implement strategic business development plans and strategies to achieve Sedfa's growth objectives.
  6. Oversee Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises and Co-operatives Development initiatives.
  7. Lead the development of Sedfa’s vision for lending risk management.
  8. Oversee Khula Credit Guarantee Scheme Management (KCG).
  9. Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government, financial institutions, and industry partners.
  10. Manage and optimize Fund and Investments Management.
  11. Ensure the integration of risk, compliance, and audit practices in all division processes and systems.
  12. Manage the division’s resources and financial assets, including people, finance, and assets.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • NQF Level 8 in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • NQF Level 9 in the same fields is an added advantage.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the financial services lending or development finance sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Experience in accounting or financial services jobs.
