What You’ll Be Doing

Human Resources Management:

  • Drive recruitment with energy and innovation, using job boards and alternative sourcing methods to attract top talent.
  • Act as the go-to person for all internal and external HR-related inquiries.
  • Keep employee records up to date and accurate, ensuring seamless HR processes.
  • Oversee the hiring process, from assessments and interviews to contracts and onboarding.
  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Organise and facilitate training sessions, HR events, and team-building initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of HR trends, labour laws, and best practices to keep HR compliant and cutting-edge.
  • Handle offboarding with professionalism, including exit interviews and final documentation.

Office Management:

  • Be the operational backbone of the company, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
  • Manage office facilities, liaising with property managers and vendors.
  • Oversee budgets and office expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Keep our office environment vibrant, stocked, and running smoothly.
  • Plan and execute company-wide events, meetings, and social activities that reinforce our culture.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, championing diversity, inclusion, and workplace well-being.
  • Maintain health and safety policies, ensuring a secure and compliant workspace.
  • Mediate workplace concerns, fostering a harmonious and high-energy team environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A people-first mindset– you love working with and supporting people.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR management experience– media or creative industry experience is a plus!
  • Strong understanding ofHR best practices, labour laws, and employment equity regulations.
  • A relevantHR qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree preferred).
  • Proficiency inHR administration, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Highly skilled inMS Office, digital tools, and office management systems.
  • Excellentcommunication, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Bonus points for:Health & Safety experience and a knack for social media management!
