Job description

PKF Cape Town is seeking a dynamic professional to become part of our learning and development team as a Junior Training Manager CA(SA) . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the technical proficiency and soft skills of our audit professionals and support staff. As a mid-tier audit firm, we value agility, professionalism, and continuous learning—qualities that this role will help nurture across all levels.

Duties and responsibilities include , but will not be limited to :

  • Plan, organise, and oversee technical training (audit methodology, accounting standards, tax laws) and non-technical programs (leadership, communication, ethics).
  • Ensure all training programs meet the requirements of relevant professional bodies (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CPA) for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Assist with development of Training material / content including but not limited to
  • Presentation of in-house and external training sessions
  • Provide internal technical assistance with accounting and auditing queries
  • Assist with review of template working papers
  • Assist as assessor on the CA of the Future Training Programme

Requirements :

  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • Minimum of one year post article experience (in the audit and assurance environment)
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of CaseWare, Excel, Word, Pastel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience in GreatSoft would be an advantage.
