Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized E-commerce Merchandising Assistant to support product presentation and sales strategy for the Upington online store. You'll manage product data, visuals, and promotions to ensure accurate, engaging listings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce principles and online retail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in fashion, retail, or e-commerce merchandising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing product listings, including uploading product information, images, and descriptions onto the e-commerce platform.
• Ensure product categorization, filtering, and search results are accurate and optimized for customer navigation.
• Support the visual merchandising of the website, ensuring product pages are appealing and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Help in the setup and execution of online promotions, discounts, and sales events.
• Analyze product performance data (sales, conversion rates, click-through rates) to identify merchandising opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing and buying teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business objectives.
