Dye Supervisor

POSITION INFO :

Dye House Supervisor – Durban

We are seeking an experienced Dye House Supervisor to oversee all dyeing operations at our Durban (Springfield) facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical dyeing knowledge, and a proven ability to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance across production.

Key Responsibilities :

• Production Oversight – Manage the full dyeing process, ensure targets are met, and monitor batch flow.
• Quality Control – Inspect dyed materials, approve samples, and ensure all outputs meet required standards.
• Team Management – Lead and train dye house staff, allocate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Equipment & Maintenance – Oversee machinery operation, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Health, Safety & Compliance – Enforce chemical handling and PPE protocols in line with regulations.
• Inventory & Stock Management – Monitor and order dyes, chemicals, and auxiliary materials while minimizing waste.
• Record Keeping & Reporting – Maintain accurate production logs and quality reports.
• Process Improvement – Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in dyeing techniques and productivity.
