About the role
We're expanding our delivery team and hiring reliable, safety-focused drivers to transport fresh produce between our facilities and hospitality/retail clients. We have roles across bakkie (Code 8), medium vehicle (Code 10), and truck (Code 14) fleets.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport fresh produce between sites and client locations.
- Deliver on time while protecting product quality (cold chain & handling).
- Complete pre-/post-trip inspections and report defects immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, PODs, and vehicle checklists.
- Assist with loading/offloading when required.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse, and clients.
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Represent our brand professionally at hospitality client sites.
Additional (Code 14 focus)
- Operate heavy-duty trucks safely on regional routes.
- Apply advanced defensive driving and route planning.
Minimum Requirements (by license class)
- Code 8: Valid Code 8 license; 1+ year driving experience; customer-facing confidence.
- Code 10: Valid Code 10 license with valid PDP; 2+ years delivery experience.
- Code 14: Valid Code 14 license with valid PDP; 3+ years heavy-duty experience.
- Sound knowledge of road safety laws & regulations.
- Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading.
- Reliable, punctual, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communication and strong customer service mindset.
Advantageous
- Experience transporting fresh produce/perishables or cold chain knowledge.
- Basic mechanical know-how for minor troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of FIFO/POD procedures and hospitality delivery etiquette.

Working Hours
Monday–Friday & public holidays: typically 07:00–16:00 (shift-dependent). Saturdays: typically 06:00–13:30 (shift-dependent). Alternating shifts and overtime as operationally required.
