Job summary

Timbercity in Centurion is seeking a driver for vehicles 3,501–9,000 kg under a fixed-term contract. You will deliver goods, ensure secure loading, conduct daily vehicle checks, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

The role requires a PrDP, 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently with a strong safety mindset. Applicants should have Grade 12, be physically fit for loading and offloading, and be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completed.
• Code 10 (HV); Code 8 (LV) for vehicle categories (<3501–9000 kg).
• At least 2 years relevant driving experience.
• Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Experience operating heavy vehicles for goods transport.
• Solid knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to complete trip sheets, delivery notes and related docs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Physically fit for loading, securing and offloading cargo.
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious; flexible hours possible.
