Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Driver / Storeman to join our team in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for helping customers with loading and offloading goods at our warehouse, managing store duties, and performing local deliveries. The ideal candidate should live within 30km of Paarden Eiland to ensure punctuality and reliability. Please note: the successful candidate must be physically capable of moving stock, with items weighing approximately kg at times.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• Previous experience in a delivery / storeman role is advantageous
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently
• Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting kg)
• Good organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner during loading / offloading
• Deliver goods safely and on time in and around Cape Town
• Maintain cleanliness and care of the delivery vehicle
• Receive, dispatch, and manage warehouse stock
• Keep accurate delivery and stock records
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues
• Assist in general housekeeping and store operations
• Perform any other duties as required

Remuneration

Basic Salary: R6 – R7 Gross (depending on experience)
