Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations.
• Transport goods, equipment, and personnel efficiently and on time.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
• Plan and follow optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring secure handling and storage.
• Operate forklifts to move palletized goods within the warehouse or site.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures, including first aid and crisis response.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of company vehicles.
• Ensure all required vehicle documents (licenses, insurance, registration) are valid and up to date.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and scheduling.

Sleutelverantwoordelikhede

Bestuur en onderhou maatskappyvoertuie veilig en in ooreenstemming met verkeersregulasies; vervoer goedere, toerusting en personeel betyds en doeltreffend; voer roetine-inspeksies en basiese instandhouding van voertuie uit en rapporteer enige probleme onmiddellik; beplan en volg die mees doeltreffende roetes vir elke rit om betydse aflewerings te verseker; veilige op- en aflaai van goedere of toerusting en versekering van behoorlike hantering en veilige berging; bedryf vurkhyser om gepalletiseerde goedere binne die pakhuis of terrein te verskuif; handhaaf 'n hoë vlak van professionele kliëntediens en samewerking met kollegas; hou akkurate rekords van kilometers, brandstofverbruik en voertuiginstandhouding; volg alle veiligheidsprotokolle, noodprosedures en maatskappybeleide; handhaaf netheid en orde van maatskappyvoertuie; verseker dat alle vereiste voertuigdokumente (lisensies, versekering, registrasie) geldig en op datum is; werk saam met logistieke spanne om gladde vervoerskedulering en prosesse te verseker; rapporteer enige ongelukke, beserings of verkeersoortredings en werk saam met owerhede; volg maatskappybeleide oor voertuiggebruik en gedragskode; werk saam met logistiek- en voorsieningspanne om vervoerprosesse te optimaliseer; bly op hoogte van plaaslike verkeers- en padtoestande.
