Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating company vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles including trucks, vans and cars to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient route to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Load and unload goods and materials onto vehicles ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of goods and materials transported as well as mileage and fuel usage
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team
