Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) where required.
• Previous driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow all traffic laws, road safety requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, trip, mileage and fuel records.
• Plan routes efficiently and account for traffic and delivery schedules.
• Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage or other concerns promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods where required.
• Ensure all company property and items transported are handled responsibly.
• Perform other driving and operational duties as assigned.
