Job summary

A leading mining company is seeking a Drill Rig Master to operate and manage drill work in the Limpopo Province. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education, mechanical skills, and 1-2 years of experience with Drill Rigs. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art mining technology while contributing to a transformative agenda. Qualifications

• License to operate Drill Rig [282 and/or M2C].
• 1 to 2 years' experience in operating a Drill Rig.
• Experience in the mining environment is highly advantageous.

Overview

Ivanplats is looking for a Drill Rig Master REF: IVP-ENG-2514. IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• License to operate Drill Rig [282 and/or M2C]
• Mechanical skills
• Experienced in mechanised underground mining

Experience

• 1 to 2 years\' relevant experience in operating a Drill Rig
• Experience in the mining environment is highly advantageous
