Overview

Our Blackheath (Cape Town) based client has been manufacturing since 1904 and is looking for a Draughtsperson Programmer with 5+ years’ experience with light steel metals (stainless steel, aluminium and alusteel) in a manufacturing / FCMG environment to generate technical drawings for both internal and external use, program robotic machines, draw up and maintain ISO polices, etc. using MS Suite and SolidWorks.

Requirements
  • Draughting Diploma
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Technical Drawing office (light steel metal fabrication) in a FMCG / manufacturing environment
  • Sound knowledge of stainless steel, aluminium and Alusteel
  • Excellent written & verbal business English
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Sound admin, time management, planning, organising and controlling skills
  • Able to delegate
  • Supervisory skills
  • Computer literate: MS Suite and SolidWorks
