Job summary

JVR Software is seeking a junior Architectural Drafter to provide drafting and modelling support for the Professional Services Division. You will assist with 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentations, while learning construction details under supervision.

Role involves collaboration with internal teams, site visits, and adherence to building regulations and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Opportunities to develop skills in architectural software and project documentation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Architectural Drafting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural drafting and modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural drafting and modelling services for the Professional Services Division.
• Assist in preparing presentation and graphic material.
• Support the team in producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Assist in preparing planning and building regulation drawing submissions.
• Learn to develop detailed construction drawings and specifications under supervision.
• Maintain project files and documentation per company standards.

Job Purpose

• Providing architectural drafting and modelling services for the Professional Services Division of the company.
• Assisting with the preparation of presentation and graphic material.
• Supporting the architectural and technical team in producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Assisting in preparing planning and building regulation application drawings.
• Learning to develop detailed construction drawings and specifications under supervision.
• Maintaining project files, drawings and documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Participating in site visits, surveys and client meetings as required.
• Supporting the creation of presentations and visual materials for client and internal use.
• Learning and applying industry standards, building codes and technical regulations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support project delivery.
• Developing skills in relevant architectural software and responding positively to guidance and feedback.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time that are in line with the position, qualification and experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Basic knowledge of building construction, architectural drawings, and applicable building regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural drafting and modelling software.
