Responsibilities

  • Run and manage the night shift.
  • Compose night shift reports.
  • Manage staff and oversee their departures.
  • Check the Distribution sitrep.
  • Dispatch routes in the morning.
  • Ensure scales and scanners are charged.
  • Contact replacement staff when needed.
  • Complete quarterly spill kit checks.
  • Report incidents and accidents.
  • Check vehicles for roadworthiness.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric
  • 3 years of experience in Distribution in a Team Leader or Supervisory Position.

THE KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE
  • The ability to run and manage the night shift
  • Composing of night shift reports
  • Management of staff
  • Management of reports and feedback
  • Overseeing staff departures in the morning from the depot
  • Checking of the Distribution sitrep
  • Dispatching of routes in the morning
  • Ensuring scales and scanners are on charge at night
  • Contact replacement staff if staff books off sick
  • Ensure drivers sign out equipment
  • Complete quarterly spill kit checks
  • Scanning of completed T / A on the W-drive
  • Scanning of the vehicle checklist on the W-drive
  • Reporting of incidents and accidents
  • Checking of vehicles for roadworthiness
