About the Role

Our client is seeking motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associates to join their busy facility in Nelspruit . This hands-on role is vital for the efficient operation of the distribution center, involving the receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will work as part of a team to ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting daily targets and maintaining high standards of safety and organization within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to contributing to a productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space and proper rotation.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided where necessary).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in resolving any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
