Job summary

Lallemand Durban seeks a seasoned Production & Operations leader to partner with EXCO in shaping long-term plans, driving productivity, sustainability and budget adherence across the plant. You will manage production targets, coordinate with quality and fermentation, develop plans to meet customer demand, and report on weekly and monthly performance while pursuing cost efficiencies.

MBA preferred; Bachelor's in BA/Engineering/Operations; 7+ years production; 3+ years in leadership; travel may be

Qualifications

• 7 years production experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Engineering / Operations Management.
• MBA is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic goals for the Plant to enhance productivity.
• Reports on full Plant operations including production, quality and fermentation.
• Inform production teams of material and equipment needs.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and budget.
• Control costs and manage the production budget.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling to meet targets.
