Overview

Role and Responsibilities

The Director of Marketing and Admissions is a new, high-impact role suited to an experienced strategic leader who can operate in a fast paced, changing educational environment. The candidate should be someone who can motivate staff and who has the ability to balance the need for a forward-thinking strategic vision with the day-to-day operational running of these aspects. As part of the newly formed Executive Team, the Director will be responsible for shaping and delivering a coherent Marketing and Admissions Strategy that drives pupil recruitment, enhances brand value, builds strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensures a consistent and compelling approach is adopted towards communications across the Forest group of schools. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team together with the respective Heads of Schools, Bursar and Director of Innovation and Transformation, the role will report directly to the Warden / CEO.

The candidate should have good knowledge of and a genuine interest in the independent educational landscape and a keen understanding of the evolving factors influencing parental choice, a robust expertise of external and internal communications and in change management.
