Job Requirements
- Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Public Administration, Business Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in a similar environment.
- Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) obtained from the National School of Government (NSG) is compulsory and must be submitted prior to appointment.
- Computer literacy essential.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
Required Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of the Justice Cluster dynamics.
- Knowledge of Public Service policy and the legislative framework, including:
- Public Service Act and Regulations
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Correctional Services Act 111 of 1998 (as amended)
- Relevant experience with the regulatory framework governing public service planning processes.
- Extensive experience in collective bargaining mechanisms.
- Proven track record in efficient and effective human resource management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in human resources legislation and the regulatory framework.
