Job summary

A Human Resource Management firm is seeking candidates for a senior managerial role to develop and implement business plans while ensuring gender issues are integrated into departmental strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of managerial experience and an NQF Level 7 qualification. Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Public Administration, Business Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in a similar environment.
  • Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) obtained from the National School of Government (NSG) is compulsory and must be submitted prior to appointment.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Valid driver’s licence required.
Required Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of the Justice Cluster dynamics.
  • Knowledge of Public Service policy and the legislative framework, including:
    • Public Service Act and Regulations
    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Correctional Services Act 111 of 1998 (as amended)
  • Relevant experience with the regulatory framework governing public service planning processes.
  • Extensive experience in collective bargaining mechanisms.
  • Proven track record in efficient and effective human resource management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in human resources legislation and the regulatory framework.
